About This Class

Our certified Karma Wilson Classroom Staff implement the Creative Curriculum for Toddlers. We build on daily routines and create meaningful learning experiences with a comprehensive, research-based curriculum that nurtures the unique strengths, interests, and individual needs. We want our toddlers to develop social emotional competence; participate in constructive, purposeful play; and interact with the environment while instilling a love for learning.

Classroom Schedule

*Diapers are changed every 2 hours unless needed earlier

7:30-8:30 Arrival, Handwashing, free choice centers
8:30-8:50 Breakfast, Toilets/Diapers
8:50-9:00 Opening Group, Attendance
9:00-9:45 Free Choice Centers and Morning Sensory Activity
9:45-10:25 Gross Motor Play (Outdoors daily except when raining, snowing, or temperatures fall below 32 degrees)
10:25-10:30 Handwashing
10:30-10:40 Story Time
10:40-11:20 Free Choice Time (10 minute small groups during free choice)
11:20-11:30 Diapers, Bathroom, Handwashing

11:30-12:00 Lunch
12:00-2:00 Quiet Rest Time (Children not resting after 20 minutes are to be given an alternate quiet activity)
2:00-2:40 Gross Motor Play w/LN Class (Outdoors daily except when raining, snowing, or temperatures fall below 32 degrees)
2:40-2:45 Handwashing
2:45-3:00 Snack
3:00-3:15 Music and Movement
3:15-3:25 Afternoon Small Group Activities
3:25-3:30 Closing Group
3:30-4:30 Free Choice Centers/Dismissal
