Noah's Ark of Highland Park

One week prior to first day of school:
Please feel free to set up an appointment to bring your child to visit his
or her new classroom. This is also a good time to drop off any
necessary paperwork that you may have completed. You may also
want to bring your child's belongings to school so that his/her teacher
can be prepared for your child's first day.
Minimum two days prior to enrollment:
Completed enrollment packet must be given to the director with
payment. ( This includes: immunization card, physical, food program
application, first aid information, and other forms.)**
First Day of School:
Bedding ( sheet and blanket ) in a labeled pillow case *
Two seasonally appropriate, changes of clean clothing ( socks,
underware, shirts, pants, etc. )
Diapers and wipes ( if applicable )
A small tote bag/book bag labelled with your child's name. - This is to
store your child's "artwork" and important information sent home to
parents, daily.
Bring any prescribed medication/epi-pens to school if applicable.
A medication form will need to be completed by a parent or guardian as
well as the child's pediatrician prior to medication being administered.
Every Morning / Afternoon:
Please remember to sign your child in/out of school each day.
If your child will be late/absent from school for any reason please call
by 9:00 am to inform a staff member of their absence.
Please keep in mind that the school day begins promptly 9:00 am.
Open-toe shoes/slip on are not permitted. This is for the child's safety
Please dress your child in comfortable, washable clothes.
Keep in mind that the children will have many hands on experiences
and may get messy!
One week after enrollment:
Key cards will be distributed. This gives staff members an opportunity
to meet and greet you at the door!
*If you ordered the Noah's Ark/tot cot bedding, it will be given to your
child on his/her first day of school.
**No outside food is permitted into Noah's Ark, we provide breakfast,
lunch , and a snack for all children.
Noah's Ark is a peanut free environment.
