What Parents are Saying
Noah's Ark of Highland Park
Dear Director,
Your program at Noah's Ark is cutting edge, and has exceeded every one
of our already high expectations. The activities and curriculum you
have for the children never ceases to amaze us. We've already had two
of our children graduate from Noah's Ark, and they were very well
prepared for kindergarten.
Currently our third child is enrolled in Ms. Samantha's class, and she
is not only enjoying the opportunity to play, interact with peers, but
she's also developed a love for reading, is learning to write, and looks
forward to "signing herself in" every morning, and answering the
"question of the day" about the featured story read in class.
You have reason to be proud of the program you have built at Noah's Ark.
Ms. Samantha is a gifted educator, deserving of far more praise than
I'm able to give. You and your team at Noah's Ark are making an
eternal, unforgettable difference in the lives of the families that are
fortunate enough to have children enrolled. Keep up the good work!
Sincerely,
Sabrina Malone

Noah's Ark Academy is amazing and perfect in every way 5 Star Rating -

I started looking for a preschool for my son Dylan about two years ago. I
visited three schools in the surrounding area and once I visited Noahs
Ark the choice was an easy one. My son loves going to school and it has
had an amazing impact on him. They have an agenda everyday and the
kids are grouped together by age. My son has learned social skills and
has learned to write, learned the alphabet, the kids are taken on field trips
and there is always a new activity. Dylan just graduated and they held an
elaborate ceremony that was amazing. I know this has had an impact on
my sons confidence and his ability to interact with other children as well
as adults as he has the utmost respect for his teachers. Miss Karen who
owns the school is wonderful and the teachers, and I am sincere when I
say they treat my son like he is their own. His teachers Miss Evelyn, Miss
Sara and Miss Lesia are all amazing. I do not have enough room here to
tell you all the amazing and wonderful stories over the past two years.
This will be Dylan's last summer and I don't know who will miss Noah's
Ark more me or Dylan.

I have had a child in Noah's Ark of Highland Park since the summer of 2001, and I have always
been happy that I found them. We found out about Noah's Ark when we were looking for a place
for my daughter when she was 18 months old. She had been with a family babysitter,
one-on-one, up to that time, and we worried about the transition to group care. Thanks to the
caregivers in the "baby room" at Noah's Ark, she made the transition in record time. In fact, we
were so impressed with Noah's Ark and its staff that we took my son, then 4, out of the
Montessori preschool where he had been and put him in Noah's Ark. He not only blossomed as
he had not done in the MUCH more expensive Montessori school; he was happier than he had
been in any other preschool setting. He has returned the last two years for summer camp
there. My daughter is now in her last year of preschool, heading to kindergarten next year, and
we are really going to miss Noah's Ark. Let me give just a few of the reasons why:
*My children have always WANTED to go to school. *We have felt like their teachers Miss
Evelyn, Miss Amy, Miss Tricia, Miss Marianne are members of our family. *We have felt like
other members of the staff were ALSO members of the family Miss Susanne, Miss Karen, Miss
Sami. *Our children have both been more than ready for kindergarten. My son was, in fact, ahead
of most of his classmates, and my daughter is ready NOW, when she still has about 7 months to
go. *And yet Noah's Ark is not one of those overly academic pre-schools. It's a joyful, fun place
that lets the kids be kids. As my daughter put it the other day, "They like it at Noah's Ark when we
make a mess." *There is also a lot of emphasis in the school on teaching children how
to get along with one another, how to be a friend, how to make their own needs known without
hurting someone else. I feel like my kids are better people as a result of their time at Noah's Ark.
*Extracurricular events, such as the Valentine's Brunch, bring families from the school together
in great ways.
I could probably go on, but that's enough. We LOVE Noah's Ark.

Dear Karen,
I don't need to tell you that you run a wonderful school but I'll say it anyway. You run an absolutely
delightful preschool and I know it's no accident! You put in a lot of hard work to get things where
they are, from NAEYC accreditation to organizing activities- all your hard work is evident and I
thank you. You also have a wonderful staff of teachers and teachers aids. Each and every one of
them has lovingly cared for my daughter and has helped to shape her life in such positive ways,
from learning another language, caring for animals and dealing with differences and feelings.
Noah's Ark truly is a very special place.
Thank You!
Love,
Cherokee Moorman
